Highlights of the 5TH ANNUAL GOLF SCRAMBLE
Held July 2023

Pheasant Hills Golf Course, Hammond,WI

Eighteen teams comprising 69 golfers raised $8,000 for Walk On Therapeutic Riding Programs at the 3rd Annual Horsin’ Around Golf Scramble on Saturday, July 31 at the Pheasant Hills Golf Course in Hammond, Wisconsin.

The “Dream Team” of Robert Elesenpeter, Ethan Petersilka, Isaac Petersilka and Gage Atkinson won  with a score of 52. “However, the real winners are the children and adults that benefit from the therapeutic horse riding programs we’ve offered for the last twenty years,” said program Director Ken Giske.

Prizes were given for the longest drive, closest to the pin, longest putt and other prize drawings were awarded throughout the day.

Parsons Electric was a major sponsor along with Pheasant Hills Golf Course, Ashley Stohl of Property Executives Realty, Double K Acres, Leitch Insurance, Nick Jackson of Edward Jones, Jason and Cash Stohl, and the River Falls State Bank. “We’ve got a great group of sponsors, supporters and volunteers,” Giske said. “Rick Allen, one of our directors and a Parsons Electric employee, was instrumental in coordinating the event. We wouldn’t be where we are if not for this kind of support.”

Event proceeds help support the ongoing operating costs of equine healthcare and feeding and facility maintenance. For twenty years, Walk On has provided individualized horseback riding related to equine assisted activities and therapeutic riding instruction to children and adults with any physical, developmental, social and emotional disabilities.
